Maple Grain Kitchen Cabinets: Assemble and Install with Ease
MAPLE GRAIN kitchen cabinets offer a practical solution for those looking to customize their kitchen and bathroom space. These cabinets are shipped unassembled in flat-packed boxes, ensuring all essential components are included: the cabinet box, doors, drawers, hardware, and screws. Designed for easy assembly, they typically require only basic tools such as a screwdriver or drill, wood glue, a rubber mallet, and occasionally a stapler.
Benefits of Maple Grain Cabinetry
Quicker Shipping: Unlike pre-assembled cabinets, Maple Grain cabinets can be shipped more rapidly, reducing wait times.
Cost-Effective: These cabinets are generally more affordable than their pre-assembled counterparts, offering a budget-friendly option without compromising quality.
Storage and Space Efficiency: The flat-packed design makes them easier to store and allows them to take up less space on a job site, facilitating a more organized workspace.
Flexibility: You have the convenience of assembling one cabinet at a time, making the process manageable and less overwhelming.
Maple Grain kitchen cabinets are a smart choice for those seeking a balance between quality, affordability, and convenience.
Choosing Between RTA and Assembled Cabinets
When deciding between ready-to-assemble (RTA) and pre-assembled cabinets, it’s essential to consider your personal comfort level and time availability.
RTA Cabinets
Ideal for DIY Enthusiasts: If you enjoy hands-on projects and are comfortable assembling furniture, RTA cabinets are a great choice.
Cost-Effective: These cabinets often come at a lower price point, allowing you to save money without compromising on style or quality.
Assembled Cabinets
Convenience: Perfect for those who prioritize ease and efficiency, assembled cabinets arrive ready to install.
For Busy Lifestyles: If you’re short on time or prefer not to handle the assembly process, these cabinets offer a hassle-free solution.
Ultimately, the decision hinges on your preference for either saving money and engaging in a DIY project or opting for the convenience of pre-assembled units.

Why Ordering a Sample Door is Essential
The Importance of Seeing Before You Buy
We highly recommend ordering a sample door before finalizing your full kitchen order. This step is crucial as it allows you to experience the actual color, door style, and quality right in the unique lighting of your own kitchen. It’s essential to understand that finishes—whether stained, painted, or wrapped—can appear differently on your screen compared to how they look in real life.
Sample Door Offer
To facilitate this, we offer sample doors for $49.99 each. The best part? You get refunded for these samples when you place your kitchen order. We will credit up to two sample doors towards your full kitchen order, ensuring that you make the best choice without extra cost.

Yes, you can combine multiple cabinet models for the same shipping cost as long as they all ship from the same warehouse. However, if your order ships from two different warehouses, the online quoted rate may not cover the shipping costs, and the order may not qualify for free delivery unless both styles are qualified. We will contact you before processing your order to confirm the details. You can also contact us to see if your mixed order qualifies. If you order various colors from the same collection, such as B5 PURE White and B7 NAVAL, they will ship together and be eligible for free shipping or the same charge if over $5,500.

We can be reached at 312-617-2668, contact@maplegraincabinetry.com or via chat, our hours are Monday – Thursday 9AM-6PM EST and Friday 9AM-2PM EST
Maple Grain will provide replacement parts as needed; however, we cannot compensate the customer for any labor expenses or time spent repairing or replacing damaged cabinets.
Upon Delivery
When your order arrives, it is crucial to carefully count and inspect all packages at the time of delivery. If you notice any missing items, please document them on the delivery receipt before signing. Afterward, email the list of missing items to our Customer Service Department at mailto: contact@maplegraincabinetry.com. Maple Grain cannot be held accountable for missing items if they are not noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
Handling Damaged Items
For items that arrive damaged, ensure you document the damage on the delivery receipt before accepting the delivery. If you discover any concealed damage after delivery, notify us within 3 days. This will allow us to arrange for a replacement of the damaged parts or product at no additional cost to you.
Please provide us with a photograph of the damage along with a description of which part of the cabinet is affected.
Replacement Policy
Typically, we will send a replacement part for damaged items rather than an entirely new cabinet. For example, if a door is cracked, we will replace just the door, not the entire cabinet.
For larger items, such as 4×8 panels, which are susceptible to minor damage during shipping, we usually provide a replacement only if the damage is significant enough to affect the panel’s usability. If the panel can still be utilized by cutting it down to fit your project, we may not send a replacement. Please ensure to note any damage on the delivery receipt to facilitate this process.
Do Not Assemble or Install
It is not appropriate to assemble or install cabinets that have missing or broken parts. Doing so can complicate the process of obtaining replacements from the manufacturer.
Storage Instructions
To enable the claims department to thoroughly inspect and replace all cabinets, ensure they are stored in a dismantled and uninstalled state. This allows the manufacturer to accurately assess the condition of the cabinets and verify any pre-existing damage.
Impact on Replacement Eligibility
Assembling or installing damaged cabinets may affect your eligibility for a replacement. The manufacturer needs to determine whether the damage occurred during assembly, installation, or before delivery. Keeping the cabinets disassembled ensures clarity in this assessment.
Next Steps
Please keep all broken cabinets disassembled until customer service confirms that it is safe to proceed. This helps ensure a smooth and efficient resolution to your claim.
Shipping / Returns
Cabinet Details
We work with third-party logistics companies to provide competitive shipping rates for our customers. If you can secure a better rate, you are welcome to handle your own shipping. In this case, you will be responsible for preparing the necessary paperwork, arranging pickup, and filing any claims with your carrier for visible or concealed damage. Please contact us to set up this arrangement.
Most Maple Grain cabinet orders are delivered within 1 week (RTA), while assembled orders can take up to 3 weeks. Some lines ship out in 2-5 business days.
Free Shipping: Shipping is free on RTA (Ready-to-Assemble) cabinet orders over $5,500*. Shipping costs for all other orders will be calculated at checkout based on your order total.
For large items like pantry or oven cabinets, or for deliveries to locations far from our warehouses, please call us for an accurate shipping quote. We can provide a custom quote based on your order size and destination.
If your order includes multiple styles shipped from different warehouses, additional shipping charges may apply. Likewise, if the calculated shipping rate does not cover the actual cost due to size or distance, we will contact you before processing your order with the updated shipping cost.
*Note: Free shipping may not apply to remote or distant locations—additional charges could apply.
Cabinets are shipped via a common carrier, who will contact you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment. Deliveries are curbside, meaning the carrier will leave the items at the curb of your property. You will receive an email with tracking information once your cabinets have shipped.
Most deliveries include a lift gate. For orders with double skids, a lift gate may not be available, and you will need to unload the cabinets from the truck.
If your order ships via a freight company, someone must be home to accept the delivery, inspect the items, and note any issues on the delivery slip before signing. You can click here to view the complete delivery instructions. The freight company may charge a re-delivery fee if no one is available to receive the shipment.
For smaller ground-shipped items, a signature is not required, and the order will be left at your home.
We ship from multiple distribution centers across the US, including CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NJ, SC, TX, and UT. We ship to locations all over the continental US. For international shipments, please contact us directly.
Allow a few extra days between the delivery date and your planned installation or contractor schedule. This gives time to resolve any issues, such as damaged or missing items. Make sure someone is available to help carry the cabinets inside, as deliveries are curbside.
To initiate a return, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. All returns must be authorized by one of our representatives. Returned items must be unassembled and in their original, unopened packaging. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including the original freight charges if the order was shipped for free. Items must be received in resealable condition; otherwise, no credit will be issued. Assembled orders, assembled cabinets, sample doors, doors, door panel, decorative panels, 4×8, 4×3 panels, trim, crown moldings, accessories and moldings are non-returnable
Piece Count and Verification:
When your cabinets are delivered, check that all ordered items are present (unless you’ve been told some are out of stock). Some items, like crown molding or fillers, may be packaged together.
If possible, open any accessory boxes while the driver is there to confirm all pieces. Note any missing items on the Bill of Lading (BOL). Make sure you receive a copy with the driver’s signature and that the driver keeps a copy with any shortages noted. This is required to process replacement orders—without it, missing items cannot be reshipped free of charge.
Checking for Visible Damage:
Inspect each box for visible damage such as cracks, dents, or holes. You do not need to open every box, but check the exterior carefully.
If the driver won’t wait while you check, contact the trucking company using the number on the BOL or call us. Explain that you need to note visible damage on the BOL.
Boxes are inspected at the warehouse before shipping, but the trucking company is responsible for any damage during transit. Damaged items can only be replaced if the damage is noted on the BOL at delivery.

warranty
Yes, we offer a 5-year warranty on our entire collection.
The manufacturer may choose to repair or replace any product covered under this warranty. Please note that natural variations in wood grain and color may result in slight differences between your cabinets and the original samples or between individual pieces. These variations are normal characteristics of real wood.
Wood also naturally expands and contracts over time, which can lead to minor hairline cracks or finish stress lines on painted or stained doors. These occurrences are not considered defects but are part of the natural aging and behavior of wood.
