Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Maple Grain Cabinetry, we strive to ensure that every cabinet order is delivered safely and efficiently. Because cabinetry products are large and require specialized handling, this policy explains how shipping, delivery, and order inspection are managed.
Shipping Coverage
We ship cabinetry products across the United States using reliable freight carriers and delivery partners. Shipping availability may vary depending on order size and destination.
Local Delivery & Assembly Service
For customers located near our service area, we also offer local delivery and assembly support.
- Delivery is available within a 70-mile radius of Elk Grove Village, Illinois 60007.
- For cabinets purchased as assembled units, a $70 assembly service fee applies.
- Free delivery for assembled cabinet orders is available only within the Chicago area.
If you are unsure whether your address qualifies for local delivery or free delivery services, please contact our support team before placing your order.
Order Processing Time
Once your order has been placed and payment has been confirmed, our team begins preparing the order for shipment.
- Typical processing time: 1–3 business days
- Large or bulk orders may require additional preparation time
- Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day
When your order ships, you will receive tracking details or delivery coordination information from the carrier.
Shipping Methods
Due to the size and weight of cabinetry products, shipments are typically delivered through freight carriers.
Shipping may be completed through:
- Freight carriers for large cabinet shipments
- Standard delivery carriers for smaller items
- Local delivery services when applicable
Estimated Delivery Time
Delivery timelines vary depending on location and shipping method.
- Typical delivery time: 5–10 business days after shipment
- Freight deliveries may require appointment scheduling
- Delivery timelines may be affected by weather or carrier delays
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance and are not guaranteed.
Freight Delivery Details
Freight shipments are usually delivered to the curbside or driveway of the delivery location. Drivers are generally not responsible for bringing items inside the home or building.
Customers should ensure that someone is available to receive and inspect the shipment at the scheduled delivery time.
Inspection at Delivery
Because cabinetry shipments travel through freight carriers, customers must inspect their order at the time of delivery.
- Carefully inspect all boxes and packaging.
- If damage is visible, note it clearly on the delivery receipt.
- Take photos of damaged packaging or products.
- Report any issues to us immediately.
Signing a delivery receipt without noting visible damage may limit the ability to file a shipping claim with the carrier.
Damaged or Missing Items
If you discover damaged or missing items after delivery, please notify us within 48 hours. Our team may request photos and order details so we can review the situation and arrange replacements or solutions when appropriate.
Shipping Delays
Occasionally, shipments may be delayed due to circumstances outside our control, including:
- Weather conditions
- Freight carrier scheduling issues
- Transportation disruptions
- Seasonal shipping volume
If delays occur, we will assist in tracking your shipment and providing updates whenever possible.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delivery delays or additional carrier charges.
Customer Transparency Commitment
Maple Grain Cabinetry is committed to maintaining transparent shipping practices and clear communication with customers. Our goal is to ensure every customer understands the delivery process and what to expect when purchasing cabinetry products from our website.
